what we believe

What We Believe:

Salvation is exclusively and simply given by belief in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. A change of mind (Repentance) regarding any alternate modes of salvation is implicit with genuine belief. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8,9)

God is a Trinity as has been the consistent belief of baptists since the apostolic era. We reject modalism or any teaching that rejects the Trinity. Three separate persons that are one God as described in John 1:1,14. 1 John 5:7.

The Bible is the final authority in all matters. It is to be interpreted literally unless contextually directed otherwise. The KJV is the Divinely sanctioned Bible for the English speaking world. (2 Tim.3:16)

The second coming of Christ is literal and is followed by His literal millennial reign on Earth. (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16)

The Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church and it’s common distinctives are biblically and historically recognized as the ideal model for gospel ministry (Matthew 16:18, 22:18-20)

Effective and legitimate leadership in gospel ministry should be conducted with a loving spirit and in separation from worldliness in music, attire, deportment, addictions and morality. (Galatians 5:21-23)

Ecclesiastical separation from all manner of inter-faith, ecumenical or any group which departs from the fundamentals of Christian faith will be maintained. (2 Corinthians 6:14, Galatians 1:6-9)

All ministry will be conducted in a traditional, biological family-friendly setting. Persons which pursue any manner of sexual deviancy, ultimately endangering children, will not be welcomed in public ministry on any occasion. (Mark 9:42)
